Dinwiddie County’s VA250 Kickoff
Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 12th at 5:30 PM as Dinwiddie County kicks off its VA250 commemoration! This special event will feature a commemorative tree planting to honor the formation of the Dinwiddie Committees of Correspondence — a pivotal moment in our county’s Revolutionary history.
We’re honored to welcome Mrs. Cheryl Wilson, the Executive Director of the Virginia 250 Organization to share insights on statewide efforts to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Members of our local VA250 Committee will also speak about upcoming events and how we plan to engage the community throughout this historic milestone.
